Community First Guam National Triathlon Championship

GTF is happy to present the Community First Guam National Triathlon Championship on Sunday, August 22nd.  This will be an Olympic Distance Triathlon (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10k run).

Show time 0430, Race Start is 0600.  Location is at Merizo Pier in beautiful Merizo Village on the Southern tip of Guam. 

ABSOLUTELY NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THIS RACE. 

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY.  ALL REGISTRATION ENDS AT 5PM WEDNESDAY August 18th. 

Mandatory packet pickup will be on Saturday, August 21, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Micronesia Mall Center Court. 

Registration Pricing will be: Soloists Only early bird registration June 12-June 30. Then both soloists and Teams will be allowed to register beginning July 1.

Registration will initially be limited to the first 100 athletes, but we are hopeful that COVID restrictions will be lifted in the next few weeks, in which case, we will open the race up to 200 participants. But please, if you want to race... register ASAP!

This is our annual signature event with full frills!  Your registration fee will include a soft blend premium race tshirt, swim cap, a custom finisher's medal, and a lunch buffet and free beer at the finish!  We will also have National Champion and Top 3 Male/Female trophies and medals for the Top 3 in each division for soloists and teams (male, female and co-ed) as well as cash prizes for top finishers and raffle prizes!!!

Mandatory equipment includes:  running shoes, bike helmet, and a bicycle

• NO HEADPHONES ALLOWED
• NO SWIM AIDS ALLOWED. This includes but not limited to fins, floatation assistance, personal swim buoys.

RACE CUT OFF TIMES:

• Swim - 1 hour and 10 minutes
• Bike - 3 hours and 10 minutes from start time
• Finish - 4 hours and 30 minutes from start time
