This clinic is designed for high school players and coaches as they prepare for the upcoming season. It will be a core skills training and Q&A session with former Guam Rugby National Coach and Player, Peter Baggetta.
Since moving to the mainland United States, Peter has worked as coach trainer/educator for USA Rugby and World Rugby and has held multiple roles as a head and assistant coach for both senior and collegiate men and women’s teams.
He was the Assistant Director of Rugby at Penn State University from 2009 to 2010 winning two Collegiate National championships, and was the associate head coach of the USA Women’s National Team at the 2014 and 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cups. Peter is currently the head coach at Gonzaga High School in Washington DC which is the largest and most successful high school rugby program in the US, winning 5 National Championships in the last 10 years under his direction, the most recent this year.
